  After the booking has been completed, we will help you request the municipality change with the Danish authorities, so your approval can be transferred to the agreed municipality.

  Once the municipality change has been approved, we will send you the official confirmation and all further practical information regarding your wedding ceremony in Denmark.

• Changing municipality:

  In order for the ceremony to take place, your approval from the Danish authorities must be transferred to the new municipality.

  At the moment, a municipality change with the Danish authorities usually takes approximately 10 working days.

  In most municipalities, the municipality change must be approved no later than one week before the planned ceremony date. It is therefore very important that the process is started as soon as possible.

  The ceremony can only take place if the municipality change has been approved by the Danish authorities in time.
